💡 Useful tips
Check regularly: The status can change at any time
Keep the receipt: It is the document that proves you submitted your application
Don't miss appointments: If you are called to the Police Headquarters (Questura), go on the indicated date
Always carry the receipt with you: Until you have the new permit, the receipt proves you are in legal status
Warning: If your application has been "in lavorazione" (processing) for a long time, contact the Police Headquarters (Questura) or a legal aid organization to verify there are no problems.
