📄 What it is and how to apply

• It is used to continue assistance from social services even after reaching adulthood.
• You can make the application to the Juvenile Court by yourself or through your guardian.
• A lawyer is not necessary to submit it.
• It can be requested even if you did not have a residence permit for minor age.

🪪 The residence permit

If the Court approves the continuation, you can request a residence permit for administrative continuation.

• This permit is valid until, at most, reaching 21 years of age.
• It allows you to live legally in Italy, study, work and access SAI reception projects, even if you were not received before.

What must be indicated in the administrative continuation application?

To obtain administrative continuation, it is necessary that the interested party a) has undertaken a social integration process during minority and b) upon reaching majority, needs prolonged support aimed at the successful outcome of this process aimed at autonomy. In the application, one must briefly outline the path taken by the minor, from arrival in Italy to the moment of submitting the administrative continuation application, with particular attention to the social integration process undertaken during minority and the prospects following reaching majority, from the point of view of school integration, training, work, reception, regularization of stay and any other aspects of social integration (volunteer activities, social activities, etc.).
